Yes. If you feel comfortable and have the knowledge to ensure a proper installation, there is no problem with installing your new windows/doors yourself. If you do not wish to do it yourself, then let Crow Industries, Inc. or any other qualified person do the installation for you.

Depending on the size of your order, it will generally take 2-3 weeks from the day you order your windows/doors until they are installed.
What is the best way to clean glass? (Back to Top)
There are several products out on the market that clean glass. Crow Industries, Inc. recommends you use any product that you feel comfortable with and cleans the glass to your satisfaction.
What does Low E stand for? (Back to Top)
Low E is a invisible, microscopic layer of silver coating added to the glass for greater energy efficiency and increased comfort by reflecting the light that causes heat. Low E stands for low emissivity.

Munitins are windowpane dividers which creates a certain designs for your windows such as Colonial or Brittany.

When considering glass options keep in mind two factors, solar heat gain and visible light transmittance. By reducing solor heat gain it can provide lower utility cost and by reducing visible light transmittance it can lower the brightness entering your home caused by natural light. Crow Industries, Inc. only recommends using pure spray silicone for lubricating your windows/doors.

Yes. The finish of your new windows/doors go through an electrostatic painting process which will stand up well in the Florida climate. The finish is also included in the manufacturer's warranty.
What kind of maintenance is required for my new windows/doors? (Back to Top)
It is recommended that you lubricate your windows/doors annually.
